The production of electricity is the source of 40% of the planet’s carbon emissions. That number is expected to grow as China and India increase their demand for electricity at unprecedented rates. A direct result of this phenomenon is the quickly emerging industry of renewable energy production.

In 2008, CPI embarked on a strategy to leverage our experience and skills as real estate developers into the field of renewable energy development. We understood that our experience in managing teams of industry professional to permit, design, finance and construct major commercial facilities would ideally position us in this growing industry.

Our first energy development, Westford Solar, is a 4.4MW solar power plant located in Westford, Mass.
